Give me your passport, go sit, I’ll get you.” 45 minutes later she hands me a check in waiver to sign and tells me the room isn’t ready it’ll be ready at 3. I go into the preferred check in and this woman has no one in front of her so I go up. And it’s time for the hell I was put through by these unapologetic incompetent idiots. Overall the staff has a mild lack for training that was annoying but not a deal breaker (they didn’t buss used tables/get you new silverware and if you ordered a drink from a waiter prepare for it to be an hour). It was a mixed bag on the butlers: one did pretty good and one was god awful (can you tell which one I had?) Honestly I still don’t know about preferred club I personally wouldn’t have done it if the rest of my family hadn’t been a part of it(I only did it to be able to go to the same places as them).

The only things the preferred club gets you is a pool with limited free seating (that’s right you get charged for those nice looking lounges on the platforms in their ads), a slightly nicer portion of the beach,two lounges with better liquor(which keep in mind is only at those bars so plan on doing some running if you drink premium liquor) and a “personal butler” to assist with your stay. Honestly our best meals were at the buffet which had me questioning why we all paid extra for preferred club. Seafood crepe? Try calling it what it actually was: tuna fish shoved in a soggy pancake.
The French restaurant probably had the worst food I’ve ever had at a resort. Let me start with the general issues with this hotel before launching into my personal nightmare. For some context, I went with my entire family for my grandparents’ 50th anniversary and vow renewal and 14 of us who have all extensively travelled found faults with this place.
